Their Fall Festival runs from September 14 through November 3, 2024 and festivities include food vendors, drinks, animals, playgrounds, giant slides, ride-on pig races, and more. Montpelier Farms is located in Prince George's County and also offers special events like birthday parties, picnics, and corporate events. You can even have a private campfire for you and your guests - they'll provide the wood and keep the fire going for you so you can relax and enjoy the crisp fall day.

The 44th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Butler's Orchard runs from September 21 through November 4, 2024 and park admission includes activities such as hayrides, jump pads, barnyard animals, a corn maze, live music, a Corn Pool, giant slides, pedal tractors, and more. Additional paid activities include the pick-your-own pumpkin patch, pumpkin cannon, pony rides, and face painting.

Jumbo's is located at Huffer Family Farm in the Middletown Valley of Maryland, in Frederick County. They offer special events during September, including Yoga featuring baby pigs.

Fall season at Knightongale Farm begins September 28 and runs weekends through October 27, 2024. Admission to this 90-acre family-owned farm includes over a dozen activities such as a corn maze, hay ride, jump pad, pedal tractors, corn boxes, 40-foot barrel slides, and a straw bale playground. Additional paid activities include face painting, pony rides, and apple cannons.

Plenty of fall favorites are available for purchase, including pick-your-own pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks. Pumpkins are available in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. Knightongale Farm also offers private birthday parties and is located in Anne Arundel County.

While they're open most of the year for various activities such as the Enchanted Forest, Clark's Elioak Farm's Pumpkin Patch is open from September 14 through November 3, 2024. Admission to the farm includes visiting the petting farm animals, exploring the Enchanted Forest and Fairy Forest, and playing on the slides and other play areas. Additional paid activities include the Enchanted Express train, hay wagon ride, cow train, and pony rides.

Entering their 226th year of farming in Howard County, Clark's Elioak Farm offers hayrides to their pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin. Their produce stand offers locally grown fresh produce and cut-your-own flowers for sale. You can also book birthday parties and school field trips year round.

The Fall Fun Fest at Gaver Farm runs August 30 through November 5, 2024. With 65 attractions, this Frederick County farm's activities include giant slides, a corn maze, a zipline, pedal carts, jumping pillows, mini mazes, a playground, and games.

With or without park admission, you can take free hayrides to the apple orchards to pick your own apples, or visit the fields to choose your perfect pumpkins. If you go at the right time of year, you can even pick your own sunflowers. Gaver Farm also offers birthday parties, group events, and school field trips.

Barnyard Fun at Weber's Cider Mill Farm runs from September 14 through November 3, 2024. On weekends, you'll also enjoy live music and can partake in additional paid activities such as food trucks, gem mining, face painting, balloon creations, glitter tattoos, and caricatures.

While at Weber's, be sure to visit the Farm Market, where you can purchase some of the best locally grown, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables that Baltimore County has to offer. During the fall, this includes 32 varieties of apples, fresh-pressed cider, pumpkins, gourds, pies, and ice cream from Keyes Creamery in Havre de Grace, MD.

Open from September 14 through November 3, 2024, the 8-acre Maryland Corn Maze is one of Anne Arundel County's top spots for getting lost in the best possible way. With a different theme each year (this year is Taylor), this huge corn maze offers plenty of fun along the way. You can even use your phone to play bonus games. While you're there, be sure to check out the other activities included with admission, such as the hay bale pyramid, corn pits, jump pad, ziplines, and tight ropes.

Plenty of food options are available too, such as corn dogs, pizza, hot cider, hot chocolate, cinder donuts, and 25 flavors of snowballs. There's no pumpkin patch on site, but local Amish farmers bring a huge variety of pumpkins to The Maryland Corn Maze weekly for you to peruse, along with their gourds, mums, and fresh whoopie pies.

In the heart of St. Mary's County, Bowles Farm boasts Southern Maryland's largest cornfield maze, running from September 28 through October 27, 2024. Food options include The Cupcake Shop's sweet treats and hot drinks, and the on-site concessions that include pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and chicken tenders.

Sharp's at Waterford Farm is open weekends from September 30 through November 5, 2024 and offers a laid-back, authentic farm vibe on their 550 acres in Montgomery County. Take a free hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own — there's even a special area with kid-sized pumpkins. Visit the country store for preserves, apple butter, local honey, crafts, fall decorations, and more.

On select days this fall you can even catch a spectacular view of horses, riders, hunt master, and lots of happy hound dogs during a traditional fox chase put on by the "Howard County Iron Bridge Horses and Hounds". For an educational experience, consider the farm animal tour, where kids can feed the friendly farm animals and learn about each one, or the Day in the Life of a Farmer tour where you'll learn about beehives and crops.

Queen Anne Farm's traditional pumpkin patch has pumpkins in every size and color, ranging from tiny 2oz bits to giant 200lb beasts. Explore the farm with your family and let everyone pick out just the right pumpkin for them, whether it's traditional orange or unique white and grey. Be sure to explore the giant Pumpkin House too, where you'll find a perfect photo opp with their giant straw farm animals.

Stop at Queen Anne Farm's country store to shop for pumpkin carving tools and patterns, as well as farm-fresh produce from Prince George's County, including butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and Maryland apples.

The Milburn's Farm Market also offers locally-grown Cecil County fruits and vegetables as well as fresh apple cider. Baugher's Orchards offers numerous pick-your-own options throughout the year, and their pumpkin patch is available for picking during weekends in October, 2024. Take a hayride out to the field to pick your own, and enjoy the fall festivities throughout the property.

The free petting zoo at this Carroll County orchard is open daily from May through October, and features donkeys, chickens, lambs, pigs, ducks, cows, rabbits, alpacas, peaco*cks, emus, goats, and more. The friendly animals will love to see you, especially if you make a stop at the coin-operated feed machines to get them a snack.

The Cornfusion Corn Maze in Carroll county is open weekends from mid-September through October 27, 2024. and boasts an incredible themed corn maze (this year is "Outback Adventure") that plays like a scavenger hunt, with hidden items along the way. Admission also includes access to numerous activities, such as slides, bounce pads, wagon train, barnyard zoo, straw bale obstacle course, corn crib, rubber duck races, tire mountain, and so much more. Additional paid activities include pony rides, paintball, gem mining, and apple slingshots.

Cornfusion is also a great place for pick-your-own pumpkins, and you can access the pumpkin patch without park admission. If you make it out for the nighttime Flashlight Maze, you can also arrange for a private firepit area complete with seating and a fire. You bring the s'mores and ghost stories!

While you're at the Frederick County farm, be sure to visit the Corn Maze, and you can feel good knowing that 100% of your maze admission proceeds go directly to charity. You even get to choose which of this year's causes your fee will support.

Miller Farms is open for Fall Family Fun during October, 2024. Admission includes a scenic hayride around the farm to see their community of wacky scarecrows, a corn maze, giant slides, jump pads, barnyard buddies petting zoo, a tire obstacle course, pedal carts, and games.

After picking out your perfect pumpkin, be sure to stop by the farm market for barbecue and ice cream, then explore the bakery's fresh-baked goodies like donuts, pies, and rolls. Miller Farms is also available for weekday school field trips and groups in Prince George's County.
