How do you reset the Cricut explore AIR 2? ›

Step 1- To start the resetting process for your Cricut Explore Air 2 you have to hold down the button below the main menu, the button above the menu, and the power button at the same time. You have to press the three buttons together until a different rainbow screen appears.

Firstly, turn-off your Cricut Maker machine and unplug your Cricut machine from the power source. After that, press and hold the reset button, which you will find at the back of your Cricut machine, for at least 3 seconds. After that, plug in your Cricut Maker machine and turn the power button on.

Faulty Power Strip or Dead Outlet

If the power button is solid red and no other button is lit, this indicates a power issue. Try plugging the Cricut into another outlet or power strip.

If the power button is steady/solid red and no other buttons are lit, this indicates it's a power related issue. We recommend trying another outlet or power strip. Often, the machine is getting enough power to turn on the lights but not enough to fully run the machine.

Sign in to Design Space and go to the menu to select Settings. Go to Machines > Machine Calibration > Select Cricut device. Once you've selected your machine, click Start. Depending on which machine you have connected, you will be asked which calibration you want to complete.
