There's no doubt about it: this Cyber Monday Max deal is the best one the HBO and Warner Bros. TV and movie streaming app has had yet. You can save a huge 70% on the monthly fee and for six months, too. But this deal won't last, so don't wait if you've been wanting to subscribe.
Max's Cyber Monday promo, which ends December 2, knocks Max's ad-supported plan down to just $2.99 per month for the first six months. Max started as HBO's streaming counterpart but has become a hub for classic and new original TV series, recent Warner Bros. film releases, and sports live-streaming. The latter is part of the B/R Sports Add-on, which will eventually cost extra but is currently included for free with all plans.

Max Cyber Monday deal
Max is a premium service for fans of prestige television, iconic films, and unscripted programs like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Succession, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, and more. The ad-supported tier is $9.99 a month, but you can upgrade to ad-free for $16.99 or view your programming in 4K for $20.99.

Who is eligible for the Max Cyber Monday deal?
New and returning customers are both eligible for the Cyber Monday deal. This means that you should still be able to cash in on the savings even if you've had a Max subscription in the past.
Are there other Max plans?
There are two other Max plans: Ad-Free and Ultimate Ad-Free. Neither plan is currently offering a sale for Cyber Monday. Ad-Free costs $17 per month, and Ultimate Ad-Free costs $21 per month. Their greatest appeal is in the name — ad-free streaming — but both tiers also come with some other perks. The Ad-Free plan allows users 30 downloads. The Ultimate Ad-Free plan includes 100 downloads, Dolby Atmos audio when available, 4K Ultra HD when available, and the ability to do it all on up to four devices at once.
Are there annual Max plans?
All three Max tiers also have annual versions. Although the annual subscriptions aren't a part of any Cyber Monday deal, you'll find some savings year-over-year by subscribing annually. The With Ads annual plan costs $100 per year, the Ad-Free annual plan costs $170 per year, and the Ultimate Ad-Free annual plan costs $210 per year. Check out all of these options at Max's site.

You can bundle Max with Disney Plus and Hulu for $17 per month with ads or $30 per month without ads.
What is on Max?
Max is the home of most HBO shows, including classics like The Sopranos, Sex and the City, and The Wire, and newer hits like Succession, Industry, and the Game of Thrones franchise. There are also several Max original series, including Hacks, which took home the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series earlier this year.
When it comes to film, the streaming service gets most recent releases from Warner Bros. and will be the home of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice when it starts streaming on December 6. Additionally, the B/R Sports Add-on unlocks live streaming from TNT, TBS, and a few other sporting options, so you can keep up with select NBA and NHL games right now.
